Non-profits establish thrift store in Nixa staff
Updated: 2014-07-11 19:39:07

The Common Interest Thrift Store, 741 Center Cir., Nixa (off of Hwy. 14 in the old Gordon's Furniture Gallery location) is accepting donations. Established by Least of These, the Nixa Foundation and Christian Associates, the store hopes to raise money for a variety of non-profit charities in Christian County.

Planning to create an upscale and trendy thrift store, volunteers are looking for clothing and shoes, books, furniture, household items, decorative arts and crafts items or anything clean and usable. Please bring items from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 12-13 and July 18-20.

The grand opening is Friday, July 25, 2014. Store hours eventually will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m, Mondays to Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays. For more information phone (417) 725-3782.
